Not at all. Our Far Infrared (FIR) Private Sauna is designed to feel gentle and comfortable, not overwhelmingly hot.

Each session starts at room temperature and gradually warms up to a level that feels soothing and easy to tolerate, allowing your body to adjust naturally. Most guests describe the experience as a deep, comfortable warmth rather than intense heat.

If at any point you prefer more airflow, you can open the adjustable window to allow fresh air to circulate inside the chamber.

Many first-time guests find that after 2–3 sessions, their body becomes even more accustomed to the warmth, making each visit increasingly relaxing and enjoyable.

Most first-time guests do experience noticeable sweating, even without intense movement. This is completely normal.

During a Far Infrared (FIR) Private Sauna session, your body is gently warmed in a way that feels comfortable, allowing it to relax and respond naturally. As your body becomes more engaged during the 30–45 minute session, sweating may occur as a natural response to warmth.

That said, everyone’s body is different. Some guests may sweat less during their first session, and that’s perfectly fine too.

From a Traditional Chinese Medicine Wellness (TCM) perspective, this can be influenced by factors such as lifestyle habits, prolonged time in air-conditioned environments, irregular sleep, or daily stress, which may affect how the body responds initially.

After 2–3 sessions, many guests notice their body adapting more smoothly to the FIR warmth, with sweating becoming more natural and balanced, making each session feel increasingly comfortable and enjoyable.

We do not provide shower facilities — simply because there is no need for one.

Sweating from Far Infrared (FIR) therapy feels very different from exercise or conventional sauna sweating. Most guests are pleasantly surprised to find that the sweat is light, clean, and non-sticky, with no unpleasant odour.

After your session, a simple towel wipe is all that’s needed. Instead of feeling uncomfortable, many guests describe their skin as smooth, soft, and refreshed.

In fact, we recommend not showering immediately after your session. Allowing about 60 minutes before showering lets the residual warmth continue working gently through your body, supporting a more balanced and rejuvenated feeling.

This unique post-session comfort is one of the reasons many guests prefer FIR therapy over other wellness or heat-based treatments.

We recommend applying your facial mask or skin care after the FIR session, not during.

Each FIR session typically lasts 30–45 minutes, based on your personal comfort. FIR begins working from the moment the session starts, so a longer duration does not mean stronger intensity — it’s about allowing your body to respond naturally to the warmth.

Each booking includes a full 1-hour private room, giving you time to enjoy the session at your own pace. Many of our lady members choose to do a 40-minute FIR session, followed by 10–15 minutes of facial mask application in the same private setting.

After FIR, when your skin circulation and metabolic activity are at their peak, skincare absorption is noticeably more effective. This is why many of our regular members consistently notice brighter, smoother, and more refined skin after each session.
